Logan Latin is a 5-foot-9, 161-pound defensive back from Houston (Texas) Lamar. He has offers from McNeese State and Prairie View A&M, and Colorado has been in contact with him "constantly" since he performed well at the Buffs' satellite camp in Houston earlier this summer. Latin clocked in with a 4.44-forty and was a top five performer at the SPE 15 Elite 100 Camp. Because of his size, or lack thereof, there is a good chance he'll end up playing nickel back in college. Latin plans to take an unofficial visit to Boulder on August 1. "I know that Colorado has been working on a brand new football facility for a year now. I think it'll be a good visit. I am excited to get out there and see what they have," he said. "They have been getting a lot of good recruits so the program should be coming up. They are in the Pac-12 and I know that is a real hard conference with Oregon and all of them. And it is a passing conference so they need defensive backs, and they need speedy defensive backs like me." Colorado has told Latin they plan to evaluate his first couple games this season. He does not currently plan to make a commitment until after his senior season. I'll have more in a front page write-up shortly. Click here to watch his junior highlight reel.
