Christian Cumber is a Class of 2017 cornerback prospect from Denver (Colo.) Mullen... I've written about him before and he was back up in Boulder for CU's BBQ/Recruit Day last Saturday with three of his teammates. Both myself and Rivals.com think Cumber is the fourth best prospect for the loaded 2017 in-state cycle. "I had been up to CU plenty of times but it was cool to actually see what the inside of the campus looks like because I had never really been anywhere but the athletic facilities in the past," Cumber said when asked about his most recent visit to CU. "It was cool. I liked it a lot, I felt comfortable there. They are in the rebuilding process right now and their facilities are on the come up. I just feel like they're really trying to turn the program around, and they are starting by trying to get the Colorado guys." Cumber has offers from CU and CSU right now, and growing interest from Nebraska and Minnesota. He was also one of the top defensive performers at the UCLA Elite Skills Camp in June. I'm working on a front page update right now.
