The 6-foot-6.5, 292-pound offensive tackle prospect from San Antonio (Texas) Churchill spent nearly two full days in Colorado this past weekend with both of his parents. Lytle had been in Boulder just a month prior to attend one of the Buffs' summer camps, and it was his performance at that camp that earned him an offer from CU. "I wanted to come back to see the opening of their new facilities and get a chance to see the coaches and players outside of a camp setting," Lytle said. "The new facility is very pretty and it has a bunch of cool new stuff. I was really impressed. It is mid-summer in Colorado so of course the weather was beautiful, too. I got to see the mountains more. And then I got to meet all of the coaches on a more personal basis and got to meet the players and see how they feel about the program. Overall, it was a very positive trip, there really weren't any negatives at all." Lytle also has an offer from Rice and he is hearing a lot from UTSA and Texas. He attended three of the Longhorns' camps this summer. "The scouts and analysts said that I performed the best out of all the offensive linemen at the last camp I went to at UT, the Under the Lights camp," he said. "It was an invite only camp so i think I impressed them quite a bit. They are very interested." I'll have more in a front page update shortly.
