Just for discussion sake, let’s say RG wants to clean this up, play a little catch-up and retire numbers of other deserving Buffs. May have to bend the rules a little bit since they’ve already been bent for SS. Are we just talking Hagen, Bienemy and Stewart? I know, emotionally, there will be many others from the glory days. Other all Americans? Guys who won position awards like Butkis, Thorpe and Ray Guy. Then obviously, we can’t afford to have so many numbers unavailable for use going forward so the rules need to change where those numbers can still be used.
