From ESPN blogger Heather Dinich twitter:
Regarding deregulation of title games: Larry Scott told me he hasn't even seen a proposal on it and hasn't discussed it w/ membership yet.
Regarding ACC and Big12 proposal to deregulate league title games, Scott told me: "I'm not even aware if they gave something to the NCAA."
Scott told me the pac12 is not even talking about it "until we see a proposal for it and understand the rationale for it."
That makes sense, Bowlsby told me the whole reason it's stalled is b/c other commissioners want to know what they'll do with it.
Problem is, ACC and Big 12 haven't said what - if anything - they want to do with it. More than anything, they want the freedom to decide.
