A quick note referring back to last week's Rockies thread. Tapia is hitting well and is playing okay defense. Pretty soon I will have to retract my statement that Tapia will not make good. If so then good for him and good for the Rockies. Desmond continues to struggle at the plate. I think that despite being a ten year vet with a good track record, that he has lost confidence at the plate. I hope he can pull out of it soon. He has a lot of talent and a lot to contribute IF he can get himself straightened out.
Also the team is playing well. The sticks are working again. It's a long season. Lots of time to work their way up the standings. They are four games back in the loss column with 137 left to play.
