"Moose was a legendary Buffalo, remaining close to the program to his last days," as stated by Richard ROkos. Moose is maybe the most internationally known Buff ever, after falling in the 68 Olympics in Grenoble, France and becoming a legendary figure on ABC Wide World of Sports as part of their introductory piece evey weekend for many years, symbolizing "the agony of defeat" . There is only pride of accomplishment and perseverence for this great multi-discipline skier. He was a great Buffalo, sking in the mid-60's for the Buffs and cheering the team to a National title in Steamboat, his home town, last March. He died at 80 on July 3, 2024.
