She followed Mike MacIntyre from San Jose state (arguably his best hire, with Leavitt being 1a), but as the director of football academics she has done an outstanding job keeping these athletes eligible and on track to earn degrees and has done a great job making sure recruits who might be at risk of gaining admission are on the right path to be accepted into the university (See her impact in Israel Antwine).
