I won't over elaborate on this one but sticking with past tradition, I did want to address why I decided to move that post from the main board here. For starters, while there certainly was some good and completely harmless back and forth/debate within the post, I think we can all agree that things deteriorated and that on the whole, there definitely appeared to be some more pointed insults being traded around.
All of you are obviously adults and don't need me to step in regularly but on that post I did feel it became warranted. It's never my intention to censor anyone or root up a good-intentioned debate, but when my 'this-is-getting-off-the-rails' meter goes off internally, I usually react accordingly. Suffice to say, I felt that one got off the rails.
I've always looked to take things post by post as opposed to a blanket policy of yanking anything of that nature from the get-go but as far as I'm concerned, by the time I stepped in on that one, it had all the telltale signs of needing to be moved to the other board.
Feel free to continue going at it over there.
No hard feelings on my end, I trust everyone engaged in that post yesterday will feel the same. If not, as always, my personal messages are always open.
