Hamilton is Set to Enroll at CU
Colorado announced three new junior college signees on the mid-year signing day, December 14. It would've been four recruits, but ASA Miami (Fla.) defensive end Shamar Hamilton had to wait until his teachers posted his final grades.
Once Hamilton received the green light, he signed with Colorado, and ASA Miami announced the signing on Thursday. Colorado will announce the signing once compliance gives the thumbs up.
For Hamilton, his process to get to division one football was a long one. Now that it's over, the 6-foot-5, 235-pounder has a sense of relief.
"It was exhilarating," Hamilton told CUSportsNation.com. "I finally got to have proof of all of my hard work I've been putting in."
