Granite Bay (Calif.) offensive tackle Will Craig has seen his recruitment rapidly pickup since the calendar flipped to 2017. He's landed seven Pac-12 offers since January 18.
"It's been a little crazy lately," Craig said. "I'm trying to enjoy it and take it slow."
One of those seven offers came from the University of Colorado, and Craig gave his thoughts about the big offer from the Buffs to CUSportsNation.com.
"I talked to coach DaPrato a few times, and we built a little bit of a relationship," Craig said. "He came a week before he offered me and talked to me. He came back a week later, and that's when he offered me. He got me on the phone with all of the coaches from Colorado. I'll be going there the 18th I think."
Craig is hoping to see a familiar face if he makes the planned trip to Boulder.
"I haven't traveled much in my life, so it's going to be pretty cool to see a new place like Colorado. I'm looking for it. I might see Isaiah [Lewis], my teammate from last year."
The 6-foot-5, 265-pounder's interest in Colorado has a lot to do with what he saw from the Buffs last season.
"I like what they did last season," Craig said. "They really rose through the ranks last year. No one really expected them to be that good. That was really cool to see, and I know they have a bunch on Granite Bay guys throughout the years, so I'll have to talk to them."
Craig also plans to visit Utah on April 18th and is trying to plan more Pac-12 visits during his spring break.
