Pat is the only reporter with the team in the PNW currently, so I'll update this post whenever he posts his full story, I assume which will include a bit of a break down from Tad Boyle, but it appears the 2021-22 season is over for CU's true freshman 7-footer.
Along with he, Quincy Allen and Javon Ruffin, that is now 3-of-5 of the stacked Class of 2021 that is not playing for the Buffaloes this year. Brutal how things like that happen.
But frankly, I'm not sure Lovering was really contributing all that much to where his absence is going to be felt on a nightly basis. That being said, Will Loughlin, senior big man who was recently put on scholarship, likely will see his role increase some, owing to his size.
Hope this isn't too much of a setback for Lovering. He needs a productive offseason leading into this upcoming summer's preseason workouts. Wish him a speedy recovery.
