Before I announce the final winner - I have some housekeeping to do. I apologize to Powersweeper for not reading his post and messages until today! Holy cow! My only excuse was I sent out the Utah results and the picks for the California game - then left for vacation and never looked back. I was so despondent, depressed, mortified and sick about the Cali Game and the firing of HCMM that I never even looked up who won week 12 until yesterday. (Ok I was just really lazy).
So I had a wrong result in week 11 vs Utah. I know, I know, hard to believe. I used all 3 of our QB % numbers for item 4 which said Over won that, but was only supposed to use Montez's #'s, which really meant Under won that line.
That means I mistakenly anointed Mike Singer as the winner. But with that change, Mike loses a point, and BuffFan42 gained a point, which left them tied. And in the 1st tiebreaker they both picked 8 Catches by Shenault, he had 9, and in the 2nd tiebreaker BuffFan42 nailed it right on the money. 13 Rushes by McMillan. So the actual winner of week 11 was BuffFan42. Sorry Mike for dashing your dreams.
Now as to the winner of week 12 - Six people had 5 Correct for the week - But the 1st tiebreaker made me the winner - I had picked 4 punts and that was exact. I feel bad now for the above
Hope I did that week right!
Now next year we have to figure out how to do it for $. That'll make skipping a week that much more painful.
