First off, we extend out apologies about the outage this afternoon. Here is what we know:

[Identified] There is a larger-than-normal release happening this morning which is causing some unavailability to the site. We are working to lessen the impact to end users, no ETA for resolution yet.

[Identified] The release is taking longer than expected to complete, we have chosen to abort the release and roll back to allow the site to re-accept end user traffic. Please note forum users may have experienced the appearance of logouts during this time, but should return to logged in status once our roll back is completed.

[Monitoring] The roll-back is finishing and traffic should begin to return to normal shortly. This release was much larger and more complicated than usual, we are going to re-evaluate the process for this one and attempt re-deploy once we can guarantee minimal disruption.
Also I plan on not mentioning Russians and Russia in the future as well.
