2 Questions:

1. Which game can we absolutely not afford to lose? The obvious answer is we can't afford to lose any of them but which one would make you the most upset if we lost?

2. Which game, if we lost, would you be able to handle the best and be the least angry about?

- A loss at Hawaii in the opener would be devastating. Team morale would really suffer and the fans would be furious starting 0-1 in MM's 3rd season vs a Mountain West team.

- A loss to UMASS at home would be awful. They've only been a 1-A team for 3 seasons and their records have been 1-11, 1-11, 3-9 playing in the MAC.

- A loss to CSU would be close to impossible for many of us to handle. It would be our 2nd loss in a row to them and our 3rd loss in 4 years. They have a new coach, new QB, and new RB.

- A loss to 1-AA Nicholls State at home would be absolutely unacceptable. It's year 3 under MM and if he can't beat a 1-AA team then it's time to find a new head coach.

1. The game I feel we can absolutely not afford to lose is the CSU game. From a perception standpoint we have to be viewed as the best team in the state of Colorado and another year of losing to them would be really damaging to the program.

2. The loss I would be the least angry about would be at home vs UMASS. Yes, it would be embarrassing but at least we would have started the season 1-0 after waiting 9 months for it to start. The game vs UMASS will have very few viewers and most people around the country would see the score but not the highlights. We could recover from a loss here by beating CSU and Nicholls State the next 2 weeks.
