Pac-12 and Mountain West did not reach an agreement on Sunday to extend their current football scheduling partnership for another year.

“We’re too far apart,” said one source.

Oregon State and Washington State signed on to play six football games each this season against Mountain West opponents. The Pac-12 is paying the MWC $14 million for those games. The agreement included a mutual Sept. 1 deadline for the sides to extend the partnership for the 2025 season, but OSU and WSU are exploring other options, per sources.
