Jenny (Barringer) Simpson is CU's most accomplished athlete of the past few decades. She won the 1500 m World Championship in 2011 and took silver in 2013. She will represent the US again at the World Championship in Beijing on Aug. 25. She has been running better, since she returned to Coach Wetmore in Dec. 2012. I realize that not many are interested in track, but Jenny is a great Buff. The following video shows the tremendous effort required to compete against the world's best.
