I am pretty troubled by the state of athletics and our society in general. I’m not naive and know people should get second chances. But the rate at which we gloss over crime to win or make more money is alarming.
Should he be banned for life? No. But I do think Hunt should have been banned for this year.
There is no excuse for what he did and I’ve read them all. There isn’t a need to strike a woman. Ever. Just my two cents and outdated I know.
More alarming is how teams are lining up for this guy and how they are “worried about how he is doing after this unfortunate situation “.
Seriously? The only thing unfortunate for the nfl is that it got caught on tape. Otherwise you can bet he’s playing this weekend.
Things won’t change until we say enough is enough.
