Crazy money going to QBs. Honestly, way out of hand for those guys. 100 rules against how you can make contact with them and friendly PI penalty calls. Definitely the best job in the league as they play forever now. Dad's around the US will continue to shop their little QBs to every corner of the nation to find the right school (high school through college) for them. It has become such a specialized position now that they have more in common with each other than with their teammates. The one's who aren't anointed team captains like Montez are considered weird. Foles is a good QB, but dang, lots of money for 50 career starts.
The good news for Jax is that they can cut Blake Bortles and his $14 million salary. Since he got $15 million in signing bonus though, they'll still owe him $6.5 million. As much as we chided Arizona for potentially moving on from Rosen, UA will get off cheap and probably be no worse off from a signal caller stand point. They'll even have a bunch of cap space to sign players who actually block, tackle, and catch.
