Ole Miss hires former Longhorns coach Beard
Ole Miss has hired Chris Beard as the Rebels' next men's basketball coach, the school announced Monday.
Regardless how you feel about it The Rebels are not afraid to make bold hires. Kiffin and now Beard. Beard will have Ole Miss rolling as soon as next year. He will assess his roster (which he has already most likely done) and he wil be ready to hit the Portal with avengence. I am sure he will have great AD support and some good NIL behind him. Ole Miss opened a new almost $100m multi-purpose basketball facility in 2014. It seats 9500 people in a bowl-like design with an amazing huge scoreboard. The place is really nice.
