He saved a good part of the previous regime's recruiting class and started to reshape things with a strong initial emphasis in the trenches but now the hard work begins.
The current recruiting class is poor, ranking in the 60's. Lots of development prospects but few real star athletes And we also have some big roster gaps he desperately needs to fill (*cough* Safety *cough*). To start his rebuild, he's going to need to land some late signees that shore up our depth gaps with real athletic talent. He needs to land a QB that makes us forget Evans. Then Coach Tucker needs to roar into spring with a plan to rebuild a team around an All-American WR, a rocket-armed yet erratic QB, and some very talented pieces at DT and LB.
I've been cautiously impressed so far, but we'll know a lot more by the end of spring.
