Noah Fenske has a good chance to start at center for the Buffs in 2022, if the roster holds up the way it is now with respect to that position.

Karl Dorrell revealed today that Austin Johnson is the other player currently taking reps at center, with 2022 signee Van Wells set to bolster the depth at C when he reports to the team in June.

Fenske didn't exactly impress me in his very limited action last year, but I think we often forget that OL is a position that requires a lot of development, which sometimes takes years. Who knows how far Fenske has come since last season, but at least for now, it would seem like he's on the right track, and it's good to hear that he's hitting it off with Kyle DeVan.

I imagine that if he stays healthy, Fenske will stay at the forefront of the starting center conversation for the Buffs as fall camp gets underway at the end of summer.
