Servite quarterback Tyler Lytle has been critical to the Colorado recruiting class in 2017 and has nothing but praise for his future home in Boulder.
Why did you pick Colorado?
"The coaches made it obvious I was the guy they wanted from the day they offered me. We communicated nonstop and built a strong relationship. The visits I took solidified my thoughts on the school and staff. Every visit just made it more and more clear that this is the right place for me. I also built a strong relationship with the players that committed before me. They were heavily involved in my recruitment. The opportunity to help return Colorado to their winning ways is huge. All this along with the opportunity to attend the Leeds school of business are my main reasons. The fan base is also unreal and made me feel welcomed and part of the Buff family."
How do you feel about the coaches?
"I love Colorado’s coaching staff. Every experience to date with them has been awesome."
What stood out about Colorado?
"The offense they run fits my strengths. The players they are recruiting speaks to their commitment of returning championship quality football to Colorado. On the academic front it fills my desire to attend a strong business school."
What other schools were being considered?
"There were many and it is irrelevant now. I am committed to CU."
Are you still hearing from them?
"Yes, some, but again it does not matter as I am part of the Buff family."
Are you considering doing any other visits other than CU?
"No, I am taking one official to Colorado."
How do you feel about the Colorado campus?
"It was one of the most beautiful campuses I’ve ever seen. Boulder is an awesome city and I look forward to getting there in 2017."
What percent would you say you are committed?
"I am 100% committed."
What visits do you have planned to Boulder?
"I will 100% be there for the BBQ on July 24th and on October 1st for my official. I also plan on taking in as many games as possible during the season to observe the offense and recruit visiting players.."
What are you trying to get out of the visit?
"Primarily just continue building a solid relationship with my coaches and future teammates. In addition, recruit my butt off to bring in talented players".
How close knit is this class?
"We have an unbelievable bond for really only knowing each other for a month or two."
How do you feel your high school will do this season?
"We are young, but have a special group. I also get to play with my younger brother this year who plays linebacker and receiver. We have the 6th toughest schedule in the country so it will be great to compete with the best and see where we stand at the end. We are taking each game one at a time and not looking ahead. I am personally focused on being the best teammate, leader and QB for my team. I am sure everyone else on the team is committed to doing the same."
