Michigan St, Iowa St and PAcific all have one thing in common. THey all made our team look pretty inept for long stretchs of the games. THe only decent game we played was against UCONN and im sure Hurley still is having sleepless nights over that. This team has many of the HCTB Hallmarks of streaky play, high turnovers, questionable shot taking but generally high energy defense and rebounding. Certainly there are periods where the D and rebounding are sketchy as well.

I think HC TB needs to shorten the Bench ASAP. Ruffin and Carrington are at the top of the list for scrap time play only IMO. Hammond's time needs to get dramatically reduced unless he can reduce his TOs significantly. RJ SMith and Kassaros i think are the best 2 options at guard given their higher end athletic and scoring ability. If we need 2 true guards on the floor in crunch time I think RJ and Kassaros can hang athletically with the B12 guard combos we will see so we need to get peach fuzz off their faces asap.

Hopefully this isnt a complete rebuilding year but CSU is going to be loaded for bear on Saturday so the outcome there will be a benchmark.
