*I am not an attorney, but to the best of my understanding based on a few business law classes, I believe that no where in the constitution are we explicitly guaranteed the right to medical privacy, but it is presumed based on prior precedent/interpretation and reinforced in Roe vs. Wade. Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but to tear down roe vs wade it seems most logical to attack this shield that seems to exist between the doctor and the patient.
This - if true, and HIPPA not withstanding - naturally leads to the slippery slope that our medical information could be accessed by a range of organizations including employers, your church, your school.
