Wednesday Practice Report

BOULDER-- This Saturday's game against Utah isn't just the last game of the season but a game with PAC 12 south implications and a night for the seniors to play underneath the Folsom lights one more time.

This Utah team is going to be a big test for the Buffs and Coach MacIntyre knows that all too well since Mac has been here the Buffs have never beaten the Utes.

The Utes special teams have been good all season and that's a point of emphasis this weekend for the Buffs.

"They do a good job, Kyle does a good job with their special teams, they rugby punt every time and they do a really good job of it and they have a had a good kicker for a few years now."

Utah is coming off a loss at home to Oregon last weekend and is coming to Boulder with nothing to lose, which good be dangerous for the Buffs if they don't perform well on Saturday.

"They've beat us every year I've been here and that has kind of been the reoccurring theme all this year and we've been able to try and find a way to win, it's going to be a really tough game, they are really physical and you have to be able to stop Joe Williams."

Ryan Moeller is still going through concussion protocol and he might be able to practice tomorrow, Bryce Bobo will still be a game-time decision and Gerrad Kough will not play this weekend.

Tuesday Press Conference:

Key Points:
** They are preparing for this week a little differently with Utah having such a strong running back and a running quarterback

** The seniors are preparing for their last game at Folsom Field but not for it to be their last game this season

** All the seniors have made big developments over the years and it shows on the field

** If they don't win the PAC 12 South then this whole season was just a bunch of wins

** Alex Kelley's dad doesn't let anyone in his family wear red especially because of Nebraska

** Sefo means everything to this team, simply put.

** Sefo feels blessed and honored to be named one of the top five Polynesian players in the country.

** Coach Mac wished Joe Williams would have stayed retired.

***** Videos will be uploaded later when Buffs Tv post them on Youtube because we are only allowed to post 6-8 minutes of our own video but can post the entire CUBuffs video.*****

Monday Practice Report:

BOULDER-- With a PAC 12 South title on the rise the Buffs have turned their focus toward Utah, the only team that stands between them and accomplishing their dream.

"We would love to win it on the field, I think it just even makes it better and our guys are excited about playing Utah, Utah is an excellent football team, they have beat us every time since I've been here and it's appropriate to be the last game of the year with a lot riding on it."

Finishing games has been an emphasis for the team this year and this past weekend against Washington State proved they can finish tight games this season.

"Our young men are performing well under pressure they just keep playing, I don't think they get stressed out and our coaching staff has done an excellent job of play calling in those situations defensively and offensively so I think that is the key there."

This weekend will be the biggest crowd in the MacIntyre era at Folsom and it comes at a fitting time, the biggest game of the season. The only thing that stands between the Buffs and Santa Clara is the Utah Utes.
