His name is Ron Prince, former KSU head coach. Why is this any significance on the CU board? Well, he was an Offensive Analyst for Michigan last year. Again, these analyst positions are just pit stops at these big schools to set you up for your next big gig. Spent years in the NFL trying to get an NFL gig but bounced back to college last year to pursue an opportunity at the collegiate level.
Both of our coordinators were analysts and I know some had a lot of trepidation about that, but I wouldn't worry too much. It doesn't mean they aren't worthy. I'm sure they get a lot done as analysts at those schools as well. What a luxury those big schools have though. They can attract top line coaches (often former head coaches) to be analysts. Leveling the playing field across college football is never going to happen.
