Langston Hughes High in Fairburn, Ga., played for a AAAAAA state title last December, losing to 2022 signees Victor Venn and Aubrey Smith of Buford. However, playing for the Langston Hughes Panthers was eventual fellow signee Xavier Smith.
Smith's (former) teammate, 2023 WR Robert Lockhart, recently named a Top 3: Jackson State, Maryland and Colorado. He's garnering some SEC interest here and now, even as he releases his tops list, so I do wonder if things could take a turn, if Georgia or say Mississippi State were to offer him.
