One thing that has failed the past couple of weeks is we haven't had enough sacks nor hits on the QB. We got to Browning early and then really never did much after that allowing him to scramble and do more than he's honestly capable of. Our OLBs tend to run right by the QBs. They don't bend and break down very well. They need better rip moves. I would like to see them improve their technique and get more paws on the QB and start taking them down. This is a good game to start getting some sacks. It will be important going forward against UA, WSU, Utah and Cal. Those last 4 feature difficult to sack QBs. I assume Tate will be back for CU since they are thinking of playing him this week. You know he's chomping at the bit to play us again since we basically made him a household name. They will probably hold him out for CU week and get him 100% healthy which is going to suck. Minshew has been pretty elusive in the Cougars scheme. We know Huntley can run (and suddenly throw) as can both of Cal's QBs. We need some sacks in the worst way this last stretch. We can absolutely go 5-0 if we can pressure some QBs.
