I'm sure most of you saw this in Rick George's e-mail but this is pretty impressive: "Mike has recruited 47 players to CU, not including this year's class; one has yet to report (he is in year two of his Mormon mission), so of the 46 who have enrolled, 44 are still in the program. That sort of retention rate - 96 percent - is practically unheard of any more. This is important as keeping attrition to a minimum is an important factor in the process of rebuilding our program."
Obviously we need more talent, but keeping the talent we do have and developing it is a positive change. For the first time in 5+ years I'm becoming a little more optimistic about the program.
