Here's Karl Dorrell's complete remarks following Monday's practice. I hinted at a few of them in a separate post. Take a listen at the 8:35 mark, when Dorrell responds to a Brian Howell question about why he has not inserted Drew Carter into blowout games.
Frankly, his answer, and previous responses to this question I find to be insufficient/unconvincing. He's talked about maintaining Brendon Lewis' confidence and about how he wants to bring Carter along, etc. yet in two straight games that have been totally out of reach, he hasn't given Carter any snaps. I continue to be baffled by that. Carter needs to play and given how bad the offense has been, it is past time to see if he might brighten things up if given the chance to lead the offense.
