. . . we're seeing adjustments, tactical decisions and sideline strategy that weren't in evidence last year. 2023 was a circus - with 2 very talented players in the center ring. That team wasn't good. At all. It was a bad team elevated by Shedeur and Travis. And yeah, I was pretty cynical. I just wasn't seeing the substance behind the flash.

2024? This is a legitimate good football team. It's also pretty well coached. Yeah, I can do without all the showboating and dumb celebrations but . . . well, get off my lawn. Thing is, Deion has throttled down on the hype and showmanship and seemingly has started to focus on the coaching aspect in all this. And it's paying off.

For me, Deion is easier to root for the less he's showboating and performing. When he takes it down from 11 to 7, he's better. While still being Deion.

I'm pretty impressed with what he's doing so far. If he sticks around (Florida State is very unhappy right now- just sayin'), this could really work after 2 and 12 hit the NFL.
