2023 4-star edge rusher Blake Purchase has set his decision date and will announce his long-awaited commitment next Tuesday (Sept. 6) at 6:15 p.m. PDT. Along with announcing his decision date, the Cherry Creek HS standout recruit announced his final group that includes CU, Oregon, Notre Dame, Iowa State and Washington. He took official visits to Oregon, Iowa State, Washington and Cal during the summer. His brother, Myles, is a sophomore defensive back at Iowa State and the Cyclones have been one of the consistent parts of his recruitment. Oregon jumped into the favorite spot in the summer but Notre Dame shook things up with an offer last month. Colorado has not been mentioned a ton in his recruitment, so it is big for the Buffs to make his final group.
