After all the bellyaching I did after that ugly start, CU managed to actually climb in the poll. San Diego made the top 25 (#23) on the heels of beating CU. FSU somehow is ranked #14 after losing to CU. Considering all 3 teams were 2-1 after the tournament, the rankings are a bit subjective to say the least. If CU is 21, FSU should be at best #19. The ranking system is a bit flawed to say the least but we'll find out how good we are after we play Penn St. and Illinois (damn that is brutal).
After this weekend, I still think this team needs to desperately find another outside hitter. Austin was on fire in the last 2 games as she was able to hit around the double teams. That won't happen every game though.
