Woelk has an interesting article (linked but probably not right) about CU having a professor that is the preeminent expert on sports governance issues and research. From his pic he looks like a relatively young guy and it seems like he his going to get a green light to create a first of its kind Sports Governance Center (based within the AD). IMO this could have a profound impact on the power base of athletics within the University and nationally as well.
It is also not impossible to envision the new training complex becoming a national leader in cutting edge, elite training that can not be matched in most places.
Hard to see it now but the seeds are being planted that could transform CU into a preeminent force in sports for generations to come.
