We have some great conference games coming up. I see young players really stepping up, Battey is beginning to assert himself. Boyle deserves some credit for keeping the team's focus on improvement and the grind, and that is paying off. Gatling is a big bonus. Listening to the broadcast, two things I didn't realize are: how very young CU is, and that Gatling broke his Juco's record for made three pointers in a season. The only thing that I could gripe about is Bey's inconsistency on offense. When he is on CU I think can compete with any team in the conference. Without him contributing it is much more difficult. With Walton next year it might be asking a lot ot expect him healthy right out of the gate, but as soon as he gets back to form CU becomes one of the better teams in the conference imo. If CU keeps competing like they have in L.A., the end of this season could get very interesting.
