ESPN did after spring practice rankings for the PAC 12 teams by offensive and defensive positions. The individual position rankings were included in the daily Buff Newstand by NCBuff. There were individual threads about several of the position rankings. The position rankings were for QB, RB, WR, OL, DL, LB and DB. I couldn't find one for TE and no special team rankings.

Curious to see where the Buffs ranked overall, I combined the individual position rankings to come up with an overall, offensive and defensive rankings for each PAC 12 team. Here is how it worked out:

1) USC - overall 1st, offense 1st, defense 1st
2) tie - UCLA - overall 2nd, offense 2nd, defense 3rd (t)
Oregon - overall 2nd, offense 3rd , defense 2nd
4) Az St - overall 4th, offense 4th, defensive 3rd (t)
5) Az - overall 5th , offense 6th (t), defense 6th
6) tie Utah - overall 6th , offense 8th, defense 5th
Stanford - overall 6th, offense 6th (t), defense 7th
8) Cal - overall 8th , offense 5th, defense 11th
9) Colorado - overall 9th, offense 9th, defense 9th (t)
10) Oregon St - overall 10th , offense 10th , defense 9th (t)
11) Washington - overall 11th , offense 12th, defense 8th
12) Washington St - overall 12th, offense 11th, defense 12th

Colorado, Oregon St and Washington were all very closely ranked with the Buffs having a slight advantage.

Personally, don't think under Leach, Washington St would ever have the 11th rated offense in the PAC 12 but that is how the position rankings worked out.
