What I saw from the commits last weekend

Jonathan Van Diest - Defensive End
Profile Link: https://rivals.com/content/prospects/1353
Notes: Continues to show great explosiveness to get to the quarterback. Like him as a future inside or outside linebacker.

Dante Sparaco - Defensive End
Profile Link: https://n.rivals.com/content/prospects/5187
Notes: He’s been playing mostly DE at the IMG, but he’s told us he’s going to be a TE at Colorado. Looks great playing against strong competition. Stock remains high with us as he’s showed he’s a playmaker.

Jaylon Jackson - Receiver
Profile Link: https://n.rivals.com/content/prospects/2119
Notes: Injured

Laviska Renault - Receiver
Profile Link: https://n.rivals.com/content/prospects/13002
Notes: Big bodied receiver and also lists himself on hudl as a tight end for DeSoto one of the top football teams in Texas. Can make the tough catch.

Jalin Burrell - Defensive Back
Profile Link: https://n.rivals.com/content/prospects/181282
Notes: Was not listed on participation roster against El Camino. Maybe we overlooked it?

Alex Fontenot - Running Back
Profile Link: https://n.rivals.com/content/prospects/171523
Notes: Do not have any updates from his last game, but on September 2nd he balled out with 100-yards rushing and a 90-yard kick return for a touchdown.

Tyler Lytle - Quarterback
Profile Link: https://rivals.com/content/prospects/3940
Notes: Really shines each Friday Night and it’s clear Colorado is getting someone really special. Threw for 303-yards in a one-point loss to De La Salle last week. Through week 3 Lytle is 58-103 passing for 770-yards and 1 touchdown.

Chris Miller - Receiver/Defensive Back
Profile Link: https://n.rivals.com/content/prospects/165158
Notes: Like what Miller brings to the table. In his most recent highlights, check out his first play against The Colony. He catches a hitch route, shakes a tackle then gets up field for another 10-yards. Also a good DB.

Heston Paige - Offensive Linemen
Profile Link: https://n.rivals.com/content/prospects/181017
Notes: Don’t have any videos or stats on him just yet, however I did talk to him on September 14th and he informed me he plans to take his official visit to CU after his senior season of football.

Maurice Bell - Receiver
Profile Link: https://n.rivals.com/content/prospects/19204
Notes: Likely the commit of the week after rolling out 11 receptions for 229-yards and 2 touchdowns, and 4 tackles in a 50-49 loss to Grandview, Colorado. Bell can turn a short play into a first down or stretch the field.

Sebastian Olver - Defensive End
Profile Link: https://n.rivals.com/content/prospects/105291
Notes: His most recent highlights are very good to watch. Big wrap ups, getting off the football well and doing a great job as DE. A few steps behind a guy like Dante Sparaco, but he’s a big kid that I’m starting to like more and more.

Isaiah Lewis - Safety/Running Back
Profile Link: https://rivals.com/content/prospects/181515
Notes: Ran for well over 150-yards last game in Granite Bay’s 27-14 win over Oak Grove. Looked like a power back to be honest and their was one drive he carried the entire team down the field. I don’t know if he’s going to play RB in college, but he looked more than decent last weekend at the position.

Grant Polley - Offensive Tackle
Profile Link: https://n.rivals.com/content/prospects/9956
Notes: He’s a top Colorado Commitment for a reason and each week he impresses more and more. Check out his highlights, you’ll be very impressed. He moves so well for someone his size.

Shamar Hamilton - Defensive End
Profile Link: https://n.rivals.com/content/prospects/181958
Notes: What a game Shamar had last weekend, his highlights were outstanding and he recored 7 tackles and 2 quarterback sacks. Plays amped up and has so much athleticism. Feel he can come into Colorado and play right away.

Morrell Osling III - Quarterback
Profile Link: https://n.rivals.com/content/prospects/69179
Notes: Threw 3 touchdown passes last weekend in a 27-21 win over West Ranch. Threw a 30-yard TD pass that was right on the money. Such a smooth player and when he starts to run, good night.

William Sherman - Offensive Tackle
Profile Link: https://n.rivals.com/content/prospects/19203
Notes: Plays for one of the top high school football teams in the country and is dominating. Highlights are short and sweet.

Nate Landman - Linebacker
Profile Link: https://n.rivals.com/content/prospects/111213
Notes: He’s made of concrete or so it seems. Love watching him at tight end for high school games, kids just bounce right off him. Big hitter on defense, a high school player that any coach would love to have, sure he’ll blossom into a very nice college player.

Carson Wells - Linebacker/Defensive End
Profile Link: https://colorado.rivals.com/news/tracking-the-colorado-football-commitments
Notes: Such an imposing player and feel he is a 3 star guy that is a diamond in the rough. At 6-foot-4, 235 pounds, he is all over the field. In his first two games he’s the top football player on the field at all times. Big hits galore.
