Today the team had another practice in full pads and practice was much more physical than the previous three, everyone has been working hard and getting after it during practice.

Coach Eliot is really starting to get into the swing of things with HCMM's defense, Eliot ran a similar defense at Kentucky, it's just mainly been him getting to know his players and the terminology and getting to know how HCMM runs his practices.

Sam Bennion is in his second year at Colorado after taking a mission trip, HCMM said he is looking better than spring than he was last spring. He has put on weight and he doesn't look lost during practice.

The three JUCO transfers are having good practices but HCMM said they are swimming a little in learning everything. They are proving though that they are athletic and will have an impact during the fall. Having them here in the spring also gets them into the swing of things before summer and fall camp.

Offensive lineman Issac Miller is still working is way back from his knee injury last year but HCMM said that when he gets back to 100% he will be in the mix at the tackle position.

Anthony Julmisse is in the competition for the other starting corner role and HCMM hopes he continues to play like he's capable of because he's very athletic.

Tim Lynott has been playing at guard and center. Right now he's more comfortable at guard but is getting into the swing of things at center, he seems more comfortable there now than last year.
