Allen (TX) offensive lineman Will Sherman ended the recruiting process on Tuesday by committing to Colorado and picked the Buffs because of the relationship with his future teammates and coaches.

Why did you end up picking Colorado?
"Colorado was the definitely the school that offered the most as far as football, education, and the people."

How important were the coaches during the process?
"The coaches and players both heavily recruited me since January. That was a major factor."

How has your bond been with the players?
"From the first time I talked to them, I knew it was a strong bond and that was even before I had visited. I have been on the DM (via twitter) talking to all of them. We have all been tight since a month ago."

Did you feel you were close to committing before the visit?
"No sir, I didn't even know I was going to. I hadn't visited before and I didn’t want to consider committing without visiting. After taking the visit with my mom and loving it, I felt the time was right to commit."

What other schools were seriously in play?
"Illinois, Mississippi State, Cal, K-State, and Houston."

Do you know when you'll take your official visit?
"The players said that they are talking about either for the Oregon State game on October 1st or the UCLA game."

How does it feel to have recruiting behind you?
"It feels good because I can focus on my team even more. I can go to practice and know I don't have to worry about it. It feels good."

What role did the coaches say they expect you to fill on the offensive line?
"They see me as a leader and they see me playing anywhere I'd prefer to play on the o-line."

Do you have a position preference?
"No sir, not at all."

What areas are you working to improve on now?
"Running blocking, pass blocking, and our new play schemes. I am trying to get better at that."

How do you feel your high school team will do this season?
"We are going to do great. Coach Gambill from his first day has us working harder than we have worked before. Come August 4th, we'll be ready."

How do you feel about this Colorado recruiting class?
"It is their best recruiting class in the past decade."

Do you feel this recruiting class will only get better?
"We will, we will. Trust me."

How do you feel that the class will finish out?
"First off, we have to finish off the offense and then get some good defensive players."
