Attendance doesn't seem to be an issue for Thursday night games in other parts of the country but in the PAC 12 it's tough due to metropolitan areas with heavy traffic. Tonight's USC game in Los Angeles is embarrassing, really poor turnout on ESPN. That said, I can't blame the locals for not showing up because LA traffic is horrible on weekdays and lots of people who might have attended this game on Saturday cannot go on a Thursday night due to work/traffic/driving time.
The PAC 12 has Thursday night games these next 4 weeks.
Tonight - Washington at USC
10/15 - UCLA at Stanford
10/22 - Cal at UCLA
10/29 - Oregon at Arizona State
The USC, Stanford, and UCLA games are all good ones but traffic is really bad for all 3. Maybe ASU fans will sell out for the Oregon game, just would be nice if the PAC 12 could have loud, sold out stadiums to show the rest of the country that people DO care about college football in this conference.
Just my opinion, but while Thursday night games help with recruiting/exposure, the LA and Bay Area schools should never host weeknight games due to traffic.
