From the ticker, a couple CU related notes:
Colorado is making the biggest push for Los Angeles Loyola's Jordan Riordan, who said cornerbacks coach Charles Clark has been especially aggressive with him and he definitely appreciates it.
Throughout this off-season, a lot of coaches have been talking up Riordan and his ability and now some Pac-12 schools are definitely taking notice. Riordan said the Buffaloes are definitely the most aggressive at this point and he's also starting to hear more from Arizona and UCLA.
The Loyola prospect is still waiting for his first offer but it seems like Colorado has taken the early edge in his recruitment especially since Clark and the coaching staff has been showing a good deal of interest. Ivy League schools including Penn and Dartmouth have also been in touch.
...
Texas Tech, Colorado and Utah State have become interested in Cameron Carr, who recently transferred from Downey, Calif., to La Mirada, Calif. Coaches from those three schools, among other programs, are expected to stop by in the spring.
Carr said the Red Raiders and Aggies seem to be showing the most interest at this point and so he's especially excited to work out for those two teams in the coming weeks. The three-star has not landed any offers yet so he's not going to be picky at all when it comes to teams getting involved in his recruitment.
La Mirada coach Mike Moschetti played at Colorado and former La Mirada wide receiver Tony Brown signed with Texas Tech last recruiting cycle so there are connections to be had at those schools.
