CUSportsReport - Rivals250 WR Aaron Butler makes return to Colorado
Rivals250 athlete Aaron Butler is one one the marquee visitors on campus this weekend at Colorado.

Former USC commit Aaron Butler is currently on campus with his official visit to Colorado underway. The four-star Rivals250 recruit is one of the top prospects expected to be in attendance at tomorrow's spring game, and the Buffs are currently battling it out with Oregon, Georgia and Washington (among others) for the standout two-way athlete. Butler wants to play receiver in college, and the Buffs have already been selling him on that opportunity.
Butler was already on campus for a visit earlier this offseason, and he left very impressed by that experience. CU is the first school to get him out on an official visit and it's an important trip as his recent visit to Oregon seems to have shifted his recruitment in favor of the Ducks. There will be NIL discussions, which he has indicated will be key in his decision, but he is also building a strong relationship with the Buffs coaches that could ultimately sway things in favor of CU once this weekend comes to a close.
I caught up with him in between the two visits, and linked above is my article on him discussing both trips and what CU has done to stand out in his recruitment. His dad played with Deion Sanders in Baltimore, and there is a clear connection that could come into play as well. He has a ton of respect for CU's head coach.
"As a receiver, I'm a top priority for the class of 2024. So, being a top dude on the board for them and thinking about filling that spot is a big thing for me, because my pops (Robb-Davon) played with Prime and I know what type of dude he is. He's gonna be one of the greatest coaches of all time. He's one of the greatest men of all time, not just on the football field but as a man."
