Wow! This is a film that all Buff fans should see. It reminded me so much of what happened at CU during our football scandal and how Gary Barnett and the players got screwed. Between the Durham police detective, district attorney, New York Times writer, Newsweek writer, Jesse Jackson, and many hate groups, 3 innocent players were almost convicted for life sentences of a crime that they didn't commit. The media blew this up into a white vs. black issue; athletes vs innocent young lady; rich vs poor; privileged class vs. non priviledged; and much more.. It made me so angry that the district attorney and accuser weren't punished severely for the lies they perpetrated. The detective committed suicide. Some over zealous reporters recanted their stories and hate groups still used this case to further their corrupt agendas.
