The Big-12 had an unsurprising first weekend at football. Of the sixteen schools, fourteen won, the only losses being WVU to Penn State (anticipated) and Houston to UNLV (not antiicpated.) Only two of the opponents were Power 4 -- WVU/Penn State, and TCU's win against Stanford. The TCU game was the only Big-12 contest not played at home.
