First Rocky Mountain Showdown in Fort Collins since 1996 today, and the Buffs have to have it. 1-2 with losses the last two weeks would be a disaster, so this is a big one. Buffs have won the last 6 in the series including the double OT thriller in Boulder last season.

Some injury updates:
Tory Horton is going to play for CSU, though it's unclear how healthy he is. Only practiced on Friday this week, so something to keep an eye on.

For CU, LaVonta Bentley (foot) is going to play.
Dallan Hayden never had an official injury designation, but looked like a lower leg injury late in the game last week that will keep him out tonight.
Shilo Sanders is out, Carter Stoutmire is the likely starter in his place.
Chidozie Nwankwo is out with that shoulder injury he suffered last week, a huge loss especially on early downs.
Cornerback and special teamer Isaiah Hardge is also out.

Keeping an eye on the offensive line as well and if they shuffle things around, especially on the right side.

Curious how many are going up to the Ft. We will be there numbering 14 total. Howell, I think it was him, predicted we would be 1/3 of their stadium. That seems high.

I would be thrilled if we had 6-7k there. a large crowd in an away stadium of that size and would really help the team I think. It’s going to be loud and that stupid canon insufferable. Hopefully they don’t score often so we don’t have to hear it.

Oregon and Washington's openers against D1AA to be on BTN. I get BTN, but pay to have the sports package or whatever it is called now on Xfinity. Maybe they mean it is not a lower tier like it is in the Big Ten footprint of last year.

My favorite part of Saturday is this 3 hours. Good show so far today.

The field goal attempt all time classic. Kid has his show fly off and go farther than the ball did. I love this charity thing. It’s fun and gets the crowd fired up. I even like the PM during the segment.

Interesting grab bag. Nothing new for those who are dorks and listen to a lot of college talk but it’s a good PAC 12 expansion primer.
The second piece might be eye opening for those still thinking SS is a sure fire first round pick, top 5 pick or that his attitude isn’t effecting his draft stock. It appears how you lead matters to some. Mainly the guys writing the checks

UNLV just continues to win. Making their case for Pac 12 or AAC.

KU having a hard time with all the young guys this year. Sure thought they would win 7-8 this year. That was igly though and the B12 is good. Can they go 6-3. Seems unlikely

Sorry if I already addressed, couldn’t find anything. I think I heard CP say yesterday that Hayden is out for the week. That’s too bad as I felt like he started to roll a bit last week. Also, he’s a threat on the screen pass, which can be used to slow down the rush. I’m sorry, but I have no faith at all in Charlie O. Great kid, admire and appreciate his efforts and contributions, but, he is what he is. A Rudy type player that should not be starting in P4 football. So, did we ever figure out who number 35 was with no name on the jersey, (Welch, Augustine, Hood). Assume he will be Charlie’s back up this week.
