ARTICLE: Improving Colorado run game being sparked by freshman Micah Welch

“It's the case of when preparation meets opportunity, and [Micah Welch] prepared himself for that moment. When his moment came, he was able to perform,” Coach Flea said.

More on how Welch and the Buffs are establishing their ground presence ⬇️

HC/OC did we learn anything?

Albeit against a weaker opponent, did HCDS and OC Pat Shumer learn anything about their offense Friday night? Give the running game more than just a token glance and your QB stays on his feet more, is sacked and hurried much much less. Give your Offensive Line several chances to go attack someone on their side of the ball and their pass pro improves. Question is, what will they do with this? Go back to the offense they were at Nebraska or the offense at CSU? I still have my doubts about the latter after watching the final two minutes unfold. Was total BS that we threw the even once from that point on whether Shumer called it or SS checked to them.

CU/CSU drew 3.248 million viewers

Georgia/Kentucky: 6.6m (5:30 PM MT - ABC) - this moves CU/NU to 7th most watched this year
Alabama/Wisconsin: 5.025m (10:00 AM - FOX)
LSU/South Carolina: 4.937m (10:00 AM - ABC)
Texas A&M/Florida: 4.799m (1:30 PM - ABC)
Colorado/Colorado St: 3.248m (5:30 PM - CBS)
Oregon/Oregon State: 2.817m (1:30 PM - FOX)
Arizona/Kansas State: 2.6M (6:00 PM - Fox on Friday)
Notre Dame/Purdue: 2.283m (1:30 PM - CBS)

Hopefully Sports Media Watch does the chart of all the games they have numbers for again this week

ARTICLE: Linebacker LaVonta Bentley helping lead a strong start for CU's defense

“LaVonta Bentley, first and foremost, has been one of our key players on our defense. I mean, this young man, he is football man," Coach Prime said after the CSU-CU game.
