Also @Telecaster1, on Luke O'Brien: "I hope we have him back. We'll see. It's between him and the trainer and we'll kind of get a read on that over the next couple of days. But hopefully we'll have him back for [Wednesday]. I don't know if we will or we won't. It's out of my control. It's out of his control. So we'll see."

Amazon gets Pac-12 rights

ESPN will be prepared to split the Pac-12’s media rights with Amazon, but will not offer the conference significantly more than it pays for the Big 12. That will lead the Pac-12 to sell almost its entire media package to Amazon for a price that is slightly higher than what the Big 12 gets from ESPN and Fox. The Pac-12 will carve out a handful of prime-time football games that it then will sell to CBS.

English linebacker Kofi Taylor-Barrocks has committed to Colorado just a few minutes ago. The 6-foot-3 recruit from the NFL Academy in London had previously been committed to Jackson State. He backed off that pledge less than two weeks ago and is now headed to join Deion Sanders and the Buffs in Boulder.

Michigan State, Ole Miss and West Virginia are a few of the Power Five schools that had offered him plus he had interest from Notre Dame, Penn State and Maryland as well.

Recruiting Rankings

So far we are 47 out of 69 in average rating per player committed. Besides P5 offers this is the only stat I care about as rivals ranking is poor analytics and a waste. We have been between 58 and 64 for about a decade and a half or so with two exceptions in the high 40s and that was when there were only 65 P5 teams. This to me is a start in the right direction. Need to get consistently in that top 35 and do it on 20 recruits plus or minus

BIG TEN WAS PUSHED TO ADD MORE PAC-12 TEAMS - The UC Regents were ready to blow up the PAC-12

UCLA’s 2024 addition to the B1G was recently approved by the UC Regents, but there was also a push for the Big Ten to poach several more PAC-12 teams. Specifically, there was a push for the Big Ten to take Stanford, Oregon and Washington.

Ultimately, the B1G only stole USC and UCLA from the PAC-12.

7000 new season ticket apps

Fellow Buff supporters. I now have talked to 2 different Cornhusker fans that live in DEnver Metro that have applied for season tickets for the Buffs. They are not alone I am sure and they are actively trying to get into Folsom Field next fall. I dont know how many season tix are available but I'm guessing a Denver Metro applicant would not be further vetted to determine their football alligence by the ticket office. As season ticket holders, we need to soak up as many of those tix as possible before anything goes to the general public or we'll be looking at a game of red clad fans follwed by a bunch of empty seats later in the season. Its great what Prime time is bringing to Boulder but a game full of Nebraska fans will be a huge downer next September.

Q Allen

Ok so most of us have now seen Q Allen for 4 solid minutes of MBB against pretty weak competition. What can be determined from that? Well, what i have determined is he is the best offensive forward we have bar none. Now is he skinny? Yes. Is he a good defender? No idea at this point.

Whatever his defensive and physical strength limitations maybe, he can clearly help our current team a bunch right now scoring some points. Does anyone know the real reason he has only played 4 minutes this year? Are grades an issue or is he still injured? He reminds me of a taller and quicker Alec Birks. A huge cover issue for even great defenders and great teams. Another mystery that will probably never become clear. I hope he gets more PT before P12 play becasue we can use him.
