MBB commitment: Top-100 forward Sebastian Rancik commits to Colorado over USC, Oklahoma

Colorado has added its third Rivals150 commitment in the 2024 class after four-star forward Sebastian Rancik (San Juan Capistrano (Calif.) JSerra) announced his pledge to the Buffs over USC and Oklahoma. He took a pair of official visits to Boulder and the Buffs maintained their spot as the favorites even after he took other trips. He gives Tad Boyle a versatile player who can play inside and run the floor at 6-foot-9 but is also able to step outside and hit shots from the perimeter when needed. He is also a quality defender who can protect the rim.

Another quality pickup for the Buffs as Boyle and his staff continue to stack talent for the future in Boulder. Rancik is from Slovakia and has international experience as well and spent the summer back home.

OT - My Latest Update

Dear Friends,

Another day older, another day with more fatigue, another day with a more persistent cough and, another day feeling less and less able to pull my own weight with the home and medically related expenses. I wish I didn’t have to keep coming back to you for financial support. It’s not easy to bare my soul; however, you are on this journey with me, and you deserve to know the truth. I think that I am at my lowest now, and it’s exasperating, irritating and I feel out of control. What’s on the horizon?? My doctors plan new scans of my neck and torso because of these worsening symptoms. The scans are scheduled for November 6th and will last throughout the day. We will more than likely stay over Monday night simply due to the level of stress and tiredness that I, as well as Diane, will be experiencing by the day’s end.

I promise to keep you abreast of the results of the scans. Please say a prayer that my tumors are stable, and that I am still deemed a candidate for continued treatment. I thank you from my whole heart for your caring, concern and continued support.

Go Buffs!

Four-star ThunderRidge HS guard Andrew Crawford has committed to Colorado today. The 6-foot-6 wing really put together a nice spring bringing him offers from across the country. Ultimately, the Buffs and Stanford emerged as the top contenders and he took visits to both schools before arriving at a decision. Oregon and Northwestern had come into the picture as well.
