TV ratings for Week one. Ugg the site might not do the chart going forward

like they did in the past. But here is the story on it. If I get a chance I might format it into chart form. I am worried also that they might do a good job getting all the games. Also they might not give Gameday and Big Noon Saturday 411. They did daily numbers for about a year and stopped. Other site I could get additional 411 from have shut down.

How does Travis Hunter go #1

I’m curious what others think. He is such a special talent. It seems OL, DL and QB dominate the top end of the draft. Travis, to me, is likely a WR at the next level and perhaps a DB some. Is his position one that just keeps him from being a real #1 pick ? Can he play into that and if so what do you think has to happen?

I see him top 5 and certainly ahead of SS (currently Kiper #3 QB) but I’m struggling to see how he can get to #1 which I would absolutely love for this guy. He is such a joy to watch, a great talent and I like how he does his job. He is the kind of talent that could get a guy like me to tune in more on Sundays and become a fan of whatever team he plays for.

OL Improvement

Not sure the validity of the source, but was looking for some way to compare OL performance with last year. If this is accurate, the improvement in game 1 looks pretty significant.

Per X account @statsowar:

“In 2023, Shedeur Sanders was pressured on 37.0% of dropbacks, completed 48.8% of the passes, sacked on 25.1% of pressures, and gained 6.4 yards per attempt.

In his first game in 2024, Sanders was pressured on 25.0% of dropbacks, 71.4% of completions, sacked on 10% of pressures, and 18.3 yards per attempt.”

OT: PAC 2 and MWC do not extends scheduling agreement for 2025

Pac-12 and Mountain West did not reach an agreement on Sunday to extend their current football scheduling partnership for another year.

“We’re too far apart,” said one source.

Oregon State and Washington State signed on to play six football games each this season against Mountain West opponents. The Pac-12 is paying the MWC $14 million for those games. The agreement included a mutual Sept. 1 deadline for the sides to extend the partnership for the 2025 season, but OSU and WSU are exploring other options, per sources.

Finale for me was seeing the main competitor to Mata during the CFP halftime. Kid kicks it through for $50K from a distance Mata can only dream about.

Going to be a great football Satruday. Enjoy
